My K-2nd grade curriculum consists of 10 major units-
All of which emphasize spacial awareness and motor development.
Currently we are starting the Tumbling unit. over the next few weeks I will start by teaching them elementary tumbling skills ex: summersault, backwards summersault, head stand etc.) After students have been taught each skill, I will assess students on quality of movement and understanding of cues.
I am looking forward to this unit!

My 3-5th grade curriculum consists of 10 major units-
All of which emphasize a healthy, active lifestyle for students.
Currently we are starting the Ultimate Frisbee/Frisbee Games unit! As the unit begins, I will start by teaching ways to effectively throw a frisbee. To help students practice skills, I have a number of games involving flying discs and my hopes are by the end of the unit, students will be able to play and understand the rules of Ultimate Frisbee!
This should be very exciting! My intentions are to introduce students to a game that can be played and enjoyed outside of PE class!
